A fantastic school district located in Plano, TX is seeking a full-time Language Therapist to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement and personal growth. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and instruction.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student academic, social, and communication development

Assist in implementing behavior or educational plans as needed

Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
-
Participate in team and IEP meetings to provide insight into student performance and needs

Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Utilize evidence-based practices and strategies to improve communication, cognitive, and social skills
Qualifications:

Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License or relevant state certification

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent

Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge of behavioral, educational, and clinical methodologies relevant to speech and language therapy
